Adult Only Event
All guests must be at least 18 years old to participate in our event. No persons under the age of 18 will be allowed on the premesis. You may be asked to provide a legal ID.
Rules & Instructions
Rules are available on the website. Please review the event-rules page for details. Please follow any instructions given to you by the event team. CONFINEMENT27 may portray a detention environment in which designated performers or staff exercise fictional authority as part of the event. Such authority is theatrical and limited to the event’s disclosed activities, rules, and safety procedures. Adherence to rules and reasonable requests by staff is expected. Failure to follow instructions (outside of roleplay) may get you expelled from the event.
Consent
This event contains activities of an adult nature and you may be exposed to nudity, profane language, sexual and sexualized content.
Consent to participate in any activity can be withdrawn at any time. You will be provided with a safe-phrase/stop-proceedure. Use of the phrase will immediately stop scene and activity – which will not begin again until your situation can be reviewed.
Roleplay does not eliminate the right to withdraw consent, report a safety concern, request assistance, or invoke an established stop procedure. No fictional command, role assignment, or event rule overrides applicable law or the event’s real-world safety requirements.
Assumption of Risk
Participation in CONFINEMENT27 involves risks that may include, depending on the activities undertaken, items listed below. This list is illustrative, rather than exhaustive.
- Slips, trips, falls, collisions, bruising, abrasions, sprains, strains, and other physical injuries.
- Physical discomfort, fatigue, muscle soreness, restricted movement, pressure from restraints, and injuries associated with exertion or physical positioning.
- Emotional distress, anxiety, embarrassment, disorientation, claustrophobic reactions, or other psychological responses to immersive roleplay, simulated detention, confinement-themed environments, or authority-based interactions.
- Risks associated with stairs, uneven surfaces, older or industrial premises, metal fixtures, confined spaces, environmental conditions, and movement through event facilities.
- Loss of, theft of, or damage to personal belongings.
Certain event activities may involve simulated searches, physical positioning, handcuffs or other restraints, limited movement, supervised physical tasks, or other forms of controlled interaction, but only where those activities have been disclosed and are included in the event’s approved activity protocols. Such activities may create risks including discomfort, restricted circulation, nerve compression, falls, joint strain, panic, or other injury. All guests should communicat relevant safety concerns and comply with established safety instructions. Any physical contact, restraint, or activity remains subject to the event’s consent proceedures, operational safeguards, and stop protocols. Consent to one activity does not consitute consent to a different or more intensive activity.
Video and Audio Observation, Surveilance, and Recording
Staff utilize live-camera security feeds from individual cells and other common areas. Due to the nature of the facility, this includes “private” areas such as toilets, showers, changing and sleeping quarters. Where possible, digital privacy screens have been added in those areas.
In addition to the security feed, additional video sources will record activity in solo spaces (cells) for those guests who selected the Full Video Surveillance Package. This includes un-censored video and audio, and may capture any and all activities within the cell. Recording surveillance cameras will not have a view outside the individual cells. Recordings are only shared with the guest in them.
Guest Responsibilities and Conduct
Guests agree to follow the event’s written rules, safety instructions, and reasonable directions from designated event personnel. Guests will not intentionally interfere with safety equipment, emergency access, staff responsibilities, or the safety and consent of other participants.
Guests agree not to participate while impaired to a degree that compromises their ability to understand the risks, make decisions, or comply with safety procedures. Guests will promptly report unsafe conditions, injuries, equipment concerns, or conduct that violates the event’s consent or safety policies.
Guests understand the organizer may restrict or terminate a guest’s participation if necessary to protect the safety or well-being of participants, staff, or others.
Guests are responsible for evaluating whether they can safely participate in the activities offered. Guests agree to disclose all information reasonably necessary to assess material safety concerns and notify event personnel of any condition, injury, or change in circumstances that may require an activity to be modified or discontinuted.
Liability
The event, facilities, and staff are not responsible for personal injury, illness, property loss, property damage, or other loss arising out of or related to a guest’s participation in CONFINEMENT27.
